Purpose of Job:

Prepare all plans, projects, production drawings and documents relevant to the projects, including proposal projects, that their construction and restoration have been decided.

Take an active role in identifying, asses, and managing the risks of the process and participating in training sessions planned within the scope of management systems. Perform functional duties assigned within the scope of management systems and laws when qualifications and competencies are met (such as participating in emergency response teams, carrying out internal auditing roles, etc.).

Work closely with cross functional teams, during detailed engineering stage, including naval architects, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, and project managers, ensure integrated design solutions.

Inform and make suggestions to Design Director about activities and problems under his/her responsibility, to find solutions for problems faced during implementation.

Prepare for all plans, production drawings, calculations, part lists and other documents of projects that their construction or restoration contracts have signed in accordance with class rules, standards being in force and technical characteristics used in these kinds of yachts.

During the temporary delivery phase of yacht, to lead design engineers and technicians to deliver construction end (as built) documents to the customer in accordance with contract provisions.

Perform stability and floatability calculations required by the classification society, flag state, and/or the client to ensure that the yachts under construction remain stable and afloat without capsizing under various weather and loading conditions. Conduct structural strength and stress analyses of the ship hull to evaluate its resistance to wave loads and cargo loading conditions.

Prepare drawings requested to correct nonconformities during the production, that may arise on yacht design documents.

Assist preparation of lists showing current revisions of controlled yacht design documents.

Discuss and collect information directly with relevant companies in preparation period of detailed drawings for equipment in coordination with Project Management Department.

Follow the tasks assigned to 3rd party engineering offices.

Ensure complete and accurate information to the production within knowledge of Team Leader.

Perform additional duties related to your role as assigned by the line manager.

Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
Minimum Work Experience:
-
Four years of experience in the marine sector, preferably in the yacht sector
