Optimizes the journey from the wellhead to the production station, directly impacting the bottom line through technical debottlenecking and moves the organization from reactive maintenance to proactive optimization.
Principal Accountabilities:
Enhance the surface facility performance to maximize throughput, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing OpEx.
Provide technical support to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, increasing production throughput.
Conduct Hazard Analysis process and HAZOP studies to identify potential overpressure or leak scenarios.
Provide the technical validation for facility modifications to ensure new equipment doesn't create unforeseen risks elsewhere in the system.
Optimize the power consumption efficiencies to lower the carbon intensity of every barrel produced.
Conduct and manage field performance reviews to all PGR assets to maximize field value.
Principal Challenges:
Analyze the current surface facilities for the EOR projects (thermal + Chemical) and produce a sustainable water supply for these projects with specific water quality.
Assess the potential of using natural gas for the thermal EOR instead of the LPG as fueling and provide the optimum surface pipeline networking design.
Study the surface pipeline networking to evaluate the impact of the weather to flow assurance and to provide short and long terms solution.
Know How:
Bachelor or master’s in engineering or relevant technical discipline
+4 years of practical experience working as Process Engineer
Proven capability supporting concept, FEED, and detailed design phases, with experience in process modelling, hydraulic analysis, equipment design, and technical documentation
